Sarsvati Clinic

Operating a clinic right on the Bantalab Main Highway means things are never really quiet. The sound of trucks and cars going by is just part of the day at Sarsvati Clinic. We are situated right there on the main stretch of the highway in Bantalab, which makes us easy to find but also means there is plenty of dust coming in from the road. We spend a good part of the morning just dusting the furniture and cleaning the glass. People from the local villages and people just passing through on the highway stop in when they aren't feeling well. We see a lot of coughs, colds, and minor injuries. The waiting room is just a few benches against the wall. We have a small room for looking at people and another spot where we keep the basic supplies. It is a simple operation. We don't have a big staff, just enough to keep things running from morning until the evening. Sometimes the highway gets blocked with traffic and people come in just to wait out the jam and get a checkup while they are at it. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the curtains drawn to keep it cool inside. It is a practical place for the community here. We have been here on the highway for a while now and most people know the building. We try to keep things simple for everyone who stops by.
