You can find us at Shop No-130 in the Tawi area of Jammu, right inside the Narwal Mandi. We are situated near the vegetable market and directly across from the railway station. Because we are so close to the station and the mandi, it’s always loud and full of activity outside. There’s the smell of fresh produce and the sound of train whistles all day long. Royal Asia Tour & Travel is just a small shop where we handle various travel requests. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all our files and the equipment we need to run things. We aren't trying to look like a fancy corporate office. We’ve got some simple furniture and a calendar on the wall. A lot of our customers are people coming off the trains or traders from the market who need to get somewhere in a hurry. We stay busy keeping track of all the different requests that come in. It’s a lot of talking and writing things down to make sure nothing gets missed. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to do everything by hand for a while, but we manage. We’ve been part of this market community for a long time and know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a hard-working environment, and we just fit right into the daily rhythm of the Mandi. That’s how we operate every day. It's not glamorous but it works.
