We have a small shop at No. 220 in Rampura. It’s a pretty simple setup. We sell clothes for everyday use, mostly things like shirts and pants that people in the neighborhood need. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every bit of space we have. We have some racks along the walls and a small table where we fold the clothes. It’s just me and one helper most days. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything like that. People who live in Rampura just know we are here. Sometimes the stock gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we spend time cleaning it off. We aren't some big clothing chain. We’re just a local place where you can find something to wear without spending too much. The floor is made of old stone and it’s a bit worn down in places. We don't have a computer for the bills; we just write everything down in a notebook. It’s a quiet way to run a business. We know many of our customers by their names because they’ve been coming here for years. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure we have what people are looking for. It’s a decent life and we’re happy to be part of the community here.
