The office is over in Bari Brahmana, in the industrial area of Jammu. We are situated in Block-C of the EPIP part, which is pretty much where all the big warehouses and factories are. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where the work happens for Pure Ultratech Fashion. It gets quite dusty around here with all the trucks moving back and forth on the roads. Our space is in the M/F section, and it’s basically just a lot of tables, some chairs, and racks of clothes waiting to be sorted. It’s not a place for window shopping, that's for sure. Most days we are just busy with the logistics of everything. The air conditioner works when it wants to, so we usually have the fans going full blast. In the winter, it gets quite cold in Jammu, so we all wear heavy sweaters while we’re working at our desks. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just a small group of people trying to keep things organized and making sure the orders are correct. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and we know all the neighbors in the other blocks.
