Puran Rice Mills

Puran Rice Mills is located in Village Makhanpur. We are in the Bishnah Tehsil, and our landmark is the Jk Bank, which is very close by. The village is a good place for a mill like ours. We have a lot of space for the trucks to park and for the grain to be dried out in the sun when needed. The mill has been standing here for quite some time. It is a family-run sort of place, and we treat the workers like they are part of the family too. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in the Bishnah area, but we have a generator to keep the machines moving. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the rice is good. It is a dusty job, and we usually end the day covered in it. Having the Jk Bank nearby is handy for when we need to handle the money side of the business. Most people in Makhanpur know us well. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people who come by. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the bags are filled and ready on time. There is always someone coming in to ask about the price or the harvest. We just keep the gate open and work.
