Power Dev. Dep.,J&K Govt. is the name on our door, and we are currently operating from 3857, 47-D, Chandigarh. It might seem a little unusual to have a Jammu and Kashmir government department based here in Chandigarh, but that is how it is set up at this office. The space is a standard government-style office. It’s located in sector 47-D, which is a fairly organized part of the city. There is nothing very exciting about the building itself. It has those typical grey desks and stacks of files that you see in many public offices. We spend our days dealing with various power development issues and a lot of administrative work. The rooms are a bit cramped because of all the paperwork we have to keep for the J&K Govt. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or lounge areas. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our desks or talking in the hallways about the latest updates. The atmosphere is quite formal but also relaxed in a way that only old offices can be. Chandigarh is a nice place to work because of the trees and the wide roads, so we can't complain too much about the location at 3857. We are just a group of staff members doing our daily tasks. There is no hidden agenda or marketing fluff here. We just handle the business of the department from this Chandigarh address.
