Our base is at number 49 in New Rehari. It is a quiet enough part of Jammu compared to the main markets downtown. Mytaxitrip.In is mostly about managing the cars and drivers from this small office space. We have a couple of desks and a lot of phone chargers lying around. The 180005 area is where we’ve set up shop because it’s easy for our drivers to get in and out without too much trouble. We spend a lot of time looking at GPS screens and talking on mobile phones. It isn't a glamorous job. We deal with flat tires, traffic jams, and late-night pickups. We don't have a fancy lobby for customers because most of our work happens over the phone or on the road. The office is a bit cluttered with logbooks and spare keys. We’ve lived in Jammu for a long time, so we know the alleys and the main roads like the back of our hands. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the taxis show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but we do our best to keep moving. It's a practical business run by people who live right here in Rehari. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just manage the trips and hope for clear roads for everyone.
