Ministry Of Defence, E In C`S Branch,Delhi

We've been up here in Udhampur for a while now, specifically over by the Chopra Shop in Po Garhi. Most people know the spot. Our office is part of the E In C's Branch under the Ministry of Defence, and the main focus here is the Director Design work for the Chief Engineer Udhampur Zone. It’s busy, and there’s always paperwork or some plan being looked at on a desk. The Jammu and Kashmir weather keeps things interesting, especially when winter hits. We aren't a big shop or a flashy place, just a government office doing what needs to get done for the zone. Some of us have been here years, and others are just passing through on their way to different postings. You might see us grabbing a quick snack nearby or just walking into the gate in the morning. Life here is steady, even if the work piles up sometimes. We deal with designs and technical stuff mostly. It isn't always exciting, but it's important for the area. If you find yourself on the road past the shop, you'll see our sign. It's a practical setup, nothing too fancy, just desks, computers, and a lot of maps. We just keep the wheels turning for the engineering side of things. It’s a job like any other, but with more rules since it’s the Ministry.
