Our office is located over at Hno. 148 in Section 5 of Trikuta Nagar. It’s a quiet enough street most days, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time. Jammu gets pretty hot in the summers, so we keep the fans going and try to stay on top of all the files. We’ve been here in this building for a bit now, and it feels more like a house than a stiff corporate building, which we like. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Working in insurance means a lot of sitting at desks and looking at papers, but we try to keep the atmosphere light. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties every single day unless there’s a big meeting. Usually, it’s just us handling the claims and talking to people who walk in with questions about their policies. It gets busy near the end of the month when everyone realizes they need to get their paperwork sorted. We’ve got a small team here. We make a lot of tea and try to get through the stack of folders on the desks. We keep a jar of biscuits on the counter for anyone who stops by, though we usually end up eating them ourselves by midday. If the power goes out, which happens, we just wait it out or work by the windows.
