Mahavir Chips Industry

Mahavir Chips Industry is located in Gangyal, specifically in the Preet Nagar area. We are right opposite the Fire Brigade station, so we are pretty easy to find if you are in the neighborhood. We focus on making stone chips for construction work. It’s a noisy job, as you can imagine, with the crushers going most of the day. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The area has changed a lot, but our work remains pretty much the same. We take the raw stone and break it down into the sizes people need for their projects. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the machines to make sure they don't clog up. We are a small group here, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s shoveling or helping a driver back their truck into the right spot. There is always a layer of dust on everything, including us, by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly sit out on the stools near the entrance when we aren't working on the piles. We just try to get the orders filled and sent out on time. It is a basic business, but stone chips are always needed for something, so we stay busy enough throughout the year.
