Our place is located right near the court in Samba. If you know Ward No. 1, we are in the building belonging to Shamlal Thappa. It’s a quiet enough area most days, except when the court is busy and there are more people walking around. Being up here in J&K, things move at their own pace sometimes. We’ve set up our lab work here and it’s been a steady go so far. We don't have a massive standalone building, just our space within the local neighborhood. The staff is mostly local folks who know the area well. We spend our days mostly looking at samples and keeping the equipment running right. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a tour, it’s a working lab. We keep the doors shut to keep the dust out because the road outside can get a bit windy. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have our backups ready so the work doesn't stop. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big billboards. We just focus on the lab results and making sure everything is handled properly. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the boxes and gear, but we know where everything is.
