Khawab Foundation

You can find us over at Plot No 213, just across from the IDPS school in Sunjwan. It’s a busy enough area and we are right there in the middle of it. The 180011 zip code has been our home for a while now. We aren't a big organization with hundreds of people, just a handful of us trying to do something decent. The name Khawab means dreams, and while that sounds a bit poetic, our day-to-day is actually pretty grounded. We spend a lot of time just organizing things and making sure we stay on top of the local needs. Sunjwan is a good spot because you see everyone passing by. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the school traffic across the way, but we don't mind much. It makes the day go by faster. We keep our doors open and just take things as they come. There is no script for how we work. If someone needs help or has a question, we just talk it out. Most of our furniture is a bit old and the office isn't anything to brag about, but it serves the purpose. We think it’s better to be real than to look perfect. The summers get quite hot here, so we usually have a fan going while we sort out our paperwork. It’s just how things are done here in our small corner of the world.
