Khajuria Bricks

Khajuria Bricks is situated near Galwaday Chowk, close to the Marh area. We have a good amount of space out here to keep our stacks of bricks. The location is convenient for the tractors and trucks that come to pick up loads. It is a dusty kind of job, and we are usually covered in it by the end of the shift. We started this because there was a need for bricks in the local area around Marh. We don't have a front office with air conditioning or anything like that. Instead, we have a small shed where we keep the books and take a break from the sun. The workers here are mostly people from the nearby villages. We know the roads around Galwaday Chowk pretty well because we are always helping drivers navigate their way in. It is not a very formal place. People just show up, ask what we have, and we load them up. We try to keep a decent supply ready, but sometimes the demand is high and the yard gets empty. We just do the work day by day. There is always something to fix or a pile to move. It is a basic way to make a living, and we are fine with that. If you are near the chowk, you can see our piles from the road. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down, just working.
