It gets quite busy here in Satwari, especially being near Ashok Nagar. Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited is basically where we handle the power side of things for the region. Most days start early because electricity doesn't really take a break, right? We have been at this address for a while now. The building is what it is, not fancy but it works for what we do. People come in and out all day dealing with project details and local power issues. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but inside we are usually focused on the paperwork or coordinating with the field teams. It is a lot of logistics when you think about it. Water, turbines, cables, and all the grid stuff. We spend a lot of time on phones or looking at maps of the valleys. It’s not a glamorous job, just necessary. The staff here knows the area well. We grew up around these parts, so we understand how important it is to keep the lights on in the smaller towns and the bigger cities too. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. If you live around here, you probably know where Ashok Nagar is. It’s a standard office setup with desks, old files, and a lot of tea being drunk throughout the afternoon. We just try to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss. That is basically the life here and we wouldn't change it.
