Is Officer

This is the office for the IS Officer located in Room No 220 at the MLA’s Hostel in Jammu Tawi. It’s a bit of a different setting compared to a normal office building since we are right near the Secretariat. Being in the hostel means there’s always a lot of activity around, with people coming and going at all hours. We handle a lot of administrative stuff that comes through the government channels. It’s a small room, and it’s usually packed with files and letters that need to be sorted. The view outside is mostly of the busy streets of Jammu and the nearby government buildings. We don't have a big staff here, just a few of us making sure the paperwork for the department is in order. It’s not a place where we do any advertising or marketing. We are here to do a specific job for the state. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a very functional space. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the region. Most of our day is spent reading through reports and making sure the right people get the right information. It can be a bit repetitive, but it’s what we do. If you need to find us, just head to the hostel and ask for room 220. We’ll probably be there buried in work.
