Himlayan Tour & Travels

We are located right on Jammu Road in Katra, directly opposite the Amar Cinema Hall. It is a very busy spot because of all the people coming to visit Vaishno Devi throughout the year. Himalayan Tour & Travels has been here for years, and we have seen the town change quite a bit since we started. Our office is usually full of maps and old brochures that are a little dog-eared from people looking through them. It is a small space, and when it is peak season, it can get pretty crowded inside. We spend most of our time helping folks figure out their transport or where they are going to stay. Since we are right across from the cinema, it is easy for people to find us even if they are new to town. We do not have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to get the job done. Sometimes we are out back having a cup of tea when it is slow, but someone is almost always sitting at the front desk. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We are not trying to be the biggest agency in town. We just want to make sure people who come through Katra have a decent experience. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the local roads better than any phone app. (250 words)
