Eye Events

We have been working out of Bakshinagar for a good while now. Eye Events is basically just a small team of us who handle local functions and gatherings for people in the area. It is not a big corporate office with fancy furniture. It’s more of a workspace where we keep all our supplies and gear. We have stacks of plastic chairs, rolls of different colored fabric, and boxes of decorations tucked into every single corner. It can get pretty chaotic in here when we have two or three things happening on the same weekend. Most of our actual work happens on-site at the venues, so the Bakshinagar place is just where we plan things out and meet up before heading out in the van. We do a lot of driving back and forth all day. Planning even a small event means a lot of things can go wrong, so we spend a lot of time double-checking our lists. It is mostly about making sure the tents are put up right and the food is ready on time. We don't have a marketing person or any of that. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who used us before. We know the local vendors well, like the flower sellers and the cooks. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and staying up late to finish the setup. We just keep at it because it’s what we know how to do for our customers.
