Diva International Foundation

We set up the Diva International Foundation right here at House Number 58/2 in Nanak Nagar. It is a busy area in Gandhi, Jammu. Most people around here know the spot near Harbans Singh’s place. We have been working out of this small office for a while now. Things get a bit hectic around Nanak Nagar but we manage to keep the door open for whoever needs help. It started because we saw things in our own neighborhood that needed fixing. It is not a big fancy operation at all. We just sit together, talk about what can be done, and try to make it happen. Sometimes we are short on hands, but we keep going. The streets around here are always full of life. It’s a good place to be if you want to stay connected to what people actually deal with every day. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us trying to be useful. If you are walking around Gandhi in Jammu, you’ll probably pass by us. We mostly handle local issues that come up. It is honest work, even if it feels slow sometimes. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly just talking to folks. Life in Jammu has its ups and downs, so we just do what we can from our little corner here. That is pretty much the story of how we spend our days.
