Dialus Holidays

Dialus Holidays is based out of House No. 13/4, which is tucked right behind the OBC building. It’s a quiet enough spot, though you can hear the street noise if the window is open. We spend the majority of our time on the phones or staring at computer screens trying to find decent prices for flights and hotels. The office is a bit small and usually cluttered with travel brochures, old files, and printed itineraries. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for years, so setting up shop here made sense to us. It is not a big corporate travel agency where you are just a number. People walk in and we sit down with them to figure out where they want to go. Travel planning can be a real headache these days with all the rules changing all the time. We try to keep up with it as best as we can. Sometimes the internet is slow or a booking system crashes right when we need it, which can be frustrating. We don't have a fancy website with automated bots. If you call, you talk to one of us directly. We’ve seen a lot of people head off on trips and come back with stories. It is a simple business, really. We just try to get the dates right and make sure the hotels are actually where they say they are. Sometimes things go wrong with airlines, and we just have to sit and wait it out with the customer.
