Our business, Desi Rivaaz The House Of Fashion Style Private Limited, is based out of a house in Jammu. We are at House Number 4, on Lane 2 Extension in Udhawala. It is a quiet residential area for the most part, though things can get a bit lively during the day. We don’t have a big storefront in a mall. Instead, we work from here, focusing on different fashion styles. Jammu gets incredibly hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time trying to keep the workspace comfortable while we sort through our inventory. It’s a small operation. We handle the clothes, check the quality, and manage the orders ourselves. There are no corporate meetings or fancy presentations here. We mostly just sit around the table and figure out what needs to be done next. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat, which is nice. We aren’t trying to be some massive fashion empire. We just want to provide decent style options for the people who know us. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with fabric samples and paperwork everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually working. We like being in Udhawala. It’s a good spot and it feels like home. We’ve been here long enough that most people in the lane know who we are. It’s just a regular, local business run by people who care about what they do every day.
