We’ve been here near Subash Nagar in Jammu for a while now. Most people around here know where we are because we’ve been in the same spot for years. It’s a busy area, and there’s always something going on with cars or bikes outside our doors. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready and talking to whoever drops by for a chat or a repair. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty outside with all the traffic, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. If you’re coming from the main road, you can’t really miss our sign. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. People mostly find out about us from their neighbors or friends who’ve been here before. It's just a regular place where we work on motors and handle the paperwork that comes with it. My cousin used to work here too, so it feels like a family thing even though it’s a private limited company on the legal papers. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to show up at the gate. Sometimes the parts take a day longer than we said they would, but we try to keep things honest with everyone. It’s not a huge office with glass walls, just a practical space where we get the job done. The weather in Jammu can get pretty hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long.
