Bahu Cold Storage & Ice Factfry Pvt. Ltd. is located in the New Fruit Market in Narwal. We aren't your typical ice cream parlor with bright lights and music. This is a working site. We deal with big blocks of ice and cold storage for the fruit sellers in the market. It’s a cold, damp place even when it’s boiling outside. Most of our day is spent moving crates and making sure the temperature stays exactly where it needs to be so the produce doesn't spoil. The market starts very early in the morning, so we are often up and running while most people are still asleep. There’s a lot of shouting and trucks backing up, and it can be quite messy with all the melting ice and fruit crates everywhere. We’ve been in Narwal for a long time and the local vendors rely on us. We also make some ice cream on the side, but the main business is the cold storage. It’s heavy work and my hands are usually freezing by the end of the shift. We don't have time for fancy talk or decorations. We just focus on the machines and the inventory. It’s a tough business but someone has to do it to keep the market moving. If you come by, you’ll see us in our heavy coats, even in the middle of summer. We are just a practical part of the Narwal market ecosystem.
