My office is up in Jammu, at 90/2A Ext Lakshmi Enclave in the Trikuta Nagar area. It’s a nice part of town that is mostly residential but has some businesses mixed in. The Lakshmi Enclave is a bit tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet, which I find helpful for getting work done. The building is a typical style for Jammu, with thick walls that help manage the temperature when it gets really cold in the winter. I don’t have a big corporate setup or a large staff. It is mostly just me handling the daily tasks. My desk is usually a bit messy with various papers and folders scattered around. I have a window that looks out onto the street where I can see the neighbors going about their lives. Trikuta Nagar is a well-known area, so most people don't have trouble finding the place once I give them the address. I’ve been working from this spot for a while now and I like the familiar feel of the neighborhood. The office is kept very simple with just a few chairs and some shelves for my books and files. I don't believe in having a lot of fancy furniture that I don't need. It’s just a practical, quiet space where I can focus on the job. Some days are slow and others are very busy, but I just take them as they come.
