You can hear the temple bells from the office when they have the morning and evening prayers. Gandhi Nagar is a nice area with lots of trees and old houses. Our building is one of those traditional ones that has been around for a long time. It’s not some new glass and steel tower. It feels more like a home, which I think people prefer when they aren't feeling well. We’ve got the usual hospital things inside, but it’s on a smaller scale since it’s an OPC. Jammu gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers and air conditioners are actually working. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cars parked everywhere, especially on days when there’s a big event at the temple or a holiday. We just deal with it as it comes. Most of the staff live nearby, so we don't have long commutes through the city traffic. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of that. People just find us through word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they go to the temple. It’s a straightforward place and we just try to keep things moving along every day. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to do with the files or the patients. I usually have my tea out on the small balcony when it's not too humid.
