Aharam Foundation

We are based out in Sraysewek, which is near the post office in Katra Gulab Singh, in the Sader area. It is a pretty quiet part of the world, and our foundation reflects that. We don't have a big office building or a corporate headquarters. It is just a few of us who live in the village running things from a local house. We spend a lot of our time just being present in the community. If you want to find us, you usually just have to ask around or go toward the post office. We don't have a marketing team or any glossy brochures to hand out. Our work is very practical and grounded in the daily life of Sraysewek. If someone has a problem, they just come over and talk to us. We handle all kinds of small welfare tasks, and it is not always perfectly organized. Sometimes we are busy with paperwork and other times we are out in the village helping a neighbor. We pick up our mail from the Katra Gulab Singh post office and that is how we stay in touch with the outside world. We have lived in Sader for a long time, so we know the families and the history of this place. We are just trying to be helpful in our own small way without any fuss or big announcements. It’s just us doing what we can.
