Wilhelmsen Ship Management( Ex Barber Ship Management)

You can find us at G-91 in Sainik Colony, up here in Jammu. It is a residential area, so it is pretty calm for the most part. We used to be called Barber Ship Management, but we have changed over to Wilhelmsen now. The name changed but we are still the same group of people working out of the same office. It is a modest building. We do not have anything flashy going on. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and a lot of coffee. The weather here can be a bit extreme, either very hot or quite cold, so we spend a lot of time making sure the heaters or fans are working right. We handle the shipping management side of things from this office. It might seem strange to some people to have a maritime office in the hills, but we make it work just fine. We stay busy with the day-to-day tasks. There is always a lot of communication going back and forth with crews and other offices. We do not have any big corporate manifestos or anything. We just focus on the task in front of us. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time. We know how each other works. It is a steady pace. We like being in the colony because it is a bit more relaxed than being right in the city center. It is just our little spot where we get the job done.
