S.N Residential School Shahpur Amarpur

We started S.N Residential School here in Shahpur Amarpur quite some time ago. It’s a quiet spot in Banka, and most days you’ll find us busy with the kids who live here. Being a residential school means things never really stop. We have students from all over the local area and some from further out in Bihar. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We spend a lot of time making sure everyone follows their schedule, from breakfast in the morning to study hours later on. The teachers live nearby or on the grounds too. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy in the courtyard during breaks, but that’s just how it is when you have a lot of young people in one place. We don’t have fancy gadgets everywhere, but we try to keep things organized. The road outside can get a little dusty during the summer months. Living and learning in the same building creates a specific kind of bond between the staff and the students. It's more like a large house than a typical office or institution. We handle the daily stuff like meals, laundry, and making sure homework gets finished. It’s a lot of work keeping up with everything in Banka, but we’ve been at it for years now. People know us in Shahpur. We just go about our business day by day, making sure the students have a place to stay and learn.
