Our place is located in Bhaktinagar, over in Jalpaiguri. Specifically, we are at House Number 33 on Sibrah Sarani in the Nabagram area. We are set up at Ratan Kumar Banik’s house. It’s more of a residential neighborhood than a business district, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed. Swarnmahal Infraprojects Llp is the name we use for our business. The office is really just a couple of rooms in the house. It’s quiet and we like it that way for our planning. We have a lot of files related to our infraprojects kept in some old metal cupboards. The road outside is usually calm, except for when the school bus goes by in the afternoon. We don't have any big corporate logos or expensive leather furniture. It’s just wooden tables and some simple plastic chairs for when people stop by. The weather in West Bengal can get quite hot and humid, so we keep the windows open to let a breeze through. Most of our work involves planning and keeping track of building materials. Sometimes the local people stop by to ask questions or just to chat for a bit. It feels very connected to the local community here. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day while we look over our project lists and accounts. It’s a simple setup that works for what we need to do. We don't need a lot of extras to get things done correctly.
