We have a presence right inside the Chamurchi Tea Estate, near the Chamurchi Bazar in Jalpaiguri. It is a beautiful area with all the greenery, but the work we do is quite rugged and difficult. Doing infrastructure in a tea estate region means dealing with hills, heavy rain, and sometimes very difficult terrain for the trucks. Our office is more of a base of operations for our field workers and engineers. We are quite far from the big city vibes of Kolkata up here. The atmosphere is generally quiet until our trucks and machinery start moving for the day. We focus on getting the necessary building work done, whether it is roads or structural foundations for local projects. It is not a glamorous job by any means. We spend a lot of time working in the rain during the long monsoon season. The office is just a place to store our plans and have our morning meetings. We do not bother with any fancy furniture or decor. It is all about the work happening out there on the ground. People in the tea estate know us as the ones with the heavy equipment. We try to work around the local schedules and keep things moving as fast as possible. It is a lot of hard labor and practical problem-solving. We do not have a marketing department. We are just here doing the job.
