Om Food Industries & Ice Storage Plant

We are based on Shri Ram Para Road, near Kabi Vatika. Our facility is a mix of food processing and ice storage. It is a heavy-duty kind of place, not really meant for visitors to hang out in. We have large cold storage areas that need to be monitored all day and night. Outside, the area near Kabi Vatika is quite nice, but inside it is all business and very cold. We spend a lot of time in heavy jackets even when it is boiling outside. The trucks come in and out through the day, picking up ice or dropping off food items for storage. It is a lot of lifting and moving things around. The road can get a bit dusty, and the noise from the compressors is something you just learn to live with. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a team of people in suits. Most of us are in work clothes, making sure the temperatures stay where they are supposed to be. If the power fluctuates, we have to jump on it immediately. It is a lot of responsibility because people rely on us to keep their goods from spoiling. We have been here for a while and have a rhythm to how we do things. It is honest work, and it keeps us very busy from morning until late evening every day of the week.
