We’ve been set up here at the Alipurduar Court area in Jalpaiguri for a while now. Most people around here just know us as the Italian Thai office. It’s a busy spot near the court, and there is always something going on with the paperwork or the site crews coming in and out. Being in West Bengal, specifically in 736122, means we deal with the local weather and the logistics of getting things moved around this part of the country. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a small office where we keep track of the project files and make sure the laborers are paid on time. Sometimes the fans don't work right when it's too hot, but we manage. Most of the staff are locals or folks who moved here for the work. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the main office, trying to get things sorted. It’s a lot of practical, day-to-day stuff like checking supplies and making sure the trucks are on the right route. We don't really have a showroom or anything for people to visit. It is mostly just us doing our jobs. The rain can be a real pain during the monsoon season here in Jalpaiguri. It slows everything down to a crawl. But that is just how it is working in this region. We keep our coffee mugs on the desks and try to stay organized among all the blueprint maps and schedules.
