Rao Clothing

We are located in Shivaji Nagar, right near Smriti Park, which is a nice landmark for people trying to find us. Rao Clothing isn’t one of those massive department stores; it is a local shop where we stock things we think people in the neighborhood will actually wear. Being near the park means we get a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when families are out for a walk. We have shelves full of different clothes, and sometimes it gets a bit disorganized when we are busy, but we try to keep it decent. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how much stock we bring in at once. We know a lot of the people who live around Shivaji Nagar because they have been coming to us for years. We don't have any fancy marketing plans or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for customers to come in. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it is slow, just watching people go by toward Smriti Park. It is a comfortable way to run a business, and we like being part of this community. We have seen the area change a bit over time, but we are still here doing the same thing. It is a quiet living and we appreciate the people who stop in.
