B. L. Kashyap & Sons Ltd. operates out of Jalore in Rajasthan. Our place is tucked away inside Surajpole, in a neighborhood called Pura Mohalla. To get to us, you have to find Shiv Gali. It is a local area with narrow streets and the kind of feel you only get in the older parts of town. We are right there among the local houses and small shops. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We open up the office, get the fans going, and start on the paperwork. Living and working in Jalore means dealing with the heat, but we are used to it. The Surajpole area is quite busy, and there is always something happening outside in the street. We don't have a big fancy office building with glass walls. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and do what needs to be done. We have been part of this mohalla for some time now. People around here know the name B. L.
