Laxmi Cotspin Pvt. Ltd. is situated out at Gut No. 399 on Saman Gaon Kajala Road. It is a bit of a drive from the main city area, but that works for us because we need the space for the machinery and the raw cotton. The road can get a bit dusty during the dry season when the trucks are moving back and forth. Inside the gates, you’ll hear the constant hum of the spinning machines. It’s a loud place to work, but you get used to it after a few days. We deal with a lot of raw cotton that comes in from the local fields. The air always has a bit of lint floating around, which is just part of the job when you’re spinning yarn. We have a good group of workers who come in from the nearby villages. They know how to handle the machines and keep things running even when something breaks down. We don't have fancy office furniture or a polished lobby because we spend most of our time on the factory floor. The rainy season makes things a bit slow because the cotton gets damp, and we have to be careful with storage. We just keep our heads down and do the work day by day. It’s a practical business, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just spin the cotton and keep the machines going.
