Varad Food Products India Privatelimited

We are based out in Jalna, working under the name Varad Food Products India Privatelimited. It’s mostly run by Santosh and the rest of the family here. Our main office is over at the Hybd Seeds location, which everyone around here knows pretty well. We’ve been in the food product game for a while now, though it feels like we just started yesterday sometimes. Jalna is a good place for this kind of work. We handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff right from the director’s office. It’s not one of those big, shiny glass buildings you see in Mumbai. It’s a practical space where we talk to farmers and sort out the inventory. Things get a little messy during harvest times, but that’s just how it goes in this industry. We don’t really spend money on fancy ads. Most people find out about Varad just by talking to neighbors or seeing our trucks moving around. We just try to stay busy and keep the paperwork moving so the food gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's quiet enough to actually get a lunch break. We’re just local people trying to keep the business running smoothly year after year. It’s hard work but it keeps us on our toes. The sun gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, so we usually get an early start to the day. It helps us stay ahead of the schedule. We’ve grown a bit, but we still feel like that small shop we started as. It's just home for us.
