If you are looking for us, we are at House Number 82 in Shahgad. That’s in the Ambad area of Jalna district. It is a local place for local people. We focus on credit and other financial things for the folks living around here. Shahgad is a decent-sized place, but everyone still seems to know everyone else's business. Our office is right in the heart of that. It’s a practical space. We have some sturdy tables and enough chairs for when several people come in at once. We handle a lot of different things, which is why we have the multipurpose name. People come in for small loans or to put away a little bit of money they’ve saved up from their trade. We spend a lot of time checking numbers and making sure everything is correct. It’s not a flashy job, but someone has to do it. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, and we have to wipe down the desks every morning. We like being part of Jalna. It’s a tough place sometimes with the weather and the water, but the people are good. We don't try to act like a big bank. We are just a Nidhi, a place where the community's money stays within the community. That’s how we’ve always operated and how we plan to keep doing things for the foreseeable future, anyway.
