Sugar Plant

Our Sugar Plant is located at No. 21/6 on Barahali Road in Nanded. We are right near Jijamata High School. You can hear the school bell ring every hour. It’s a loud place because of the machinery. We process sugar here all day long. The air always smells a little sweet and burnt. It’s a big building with a lot of metal. We don't have a reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone in overalls. We spend most of our time checking the machines and making sure the sugar is coming out right. The road outside is usually busy with people going to work or school. We have a small yard where the trucks park. It gets muddy when it rains. We've been in Nanded for quite a while now. Most of the people working here are from the nearby streets. We don't use any fancy tech, just the old machines that still work fine. Sometimes a machine breaks and we have to spend the whole day fixing it. That’s just part of the job. It’s hot inside the plant, especially in the summer. We drink a lot of water and keep going. It’s honest work and it keeps the town moving in its own small way. We don't do much else besides the sugar and keeping the place running.
