Surya Rexine Centre

Surya Rexine Centre is located near the Majestic Theater on Station Road. It’s a very easy place to find because almost everyone in town knows where the theater is. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. Station Road is always full of people, especially when a show is letting out or when the trains are busy at the station. We sell rexine and all kinds of related materials. Our shop is full of rolls of different colors and textures. It smells like plastic and glue in here, which is something you just get used to after working here for a week. We don't have a fancy display. We just stack the rolls against the walls. If someone wants to see something specific, we pull it out and unroll it on the floor for them. It’s practical. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a young kid. We don’t really have a marketing plan or anything. We just open the shutters in the morning and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes it’s a guy looking for a bit of material for a chair, other times it’s a much larger order. We treat everyone the same. The shop is small and can get hot in the summer, but we have a good fan that keeps us going. That’s really all there is to it. We are just a local shop on Station Road.
