Shrishivsiddhidata Urban Multiple Nidhi Limited is our small operation. We are based at House Number 840 in Shahagad. This is in the Ambad taluka of Jalna district. Shahagad is a place where everyone knows everyone. Our office is just a regular house converted into a workspace. It’s not very big. We have a counter and some chairs for folks to wait. We deal with local people's savings and small financial needs. It’s very local. Most of our members live just a few streets away. We don't have any big goals of moving to a city office. We like it here. The atmosphere is relaxed, even when we have a lot of work. Ambad is a bit of a drive, and Jalna is even further. So having this place in Shahagad is good for the locals. We handle the cash and the books ourselves. There’s no big IT department here. If the computer acts up, we just restart it and hope for the best. Usually, it works. We’ve got a lot of ledgers from over the years. They’re stacked up on the wooden shelves. It shows we’ve been here for a while. We just keep doing what we do every day. The neighbors often pop their heads in just to say hello. Sometimes the street outside gets muddy when it rains, so people leave their shoes at the door. It is a simple way of running things, but it suits us.
