Sanvegvardhak Kunthunath Shwetambarmurtipujak Jain Tapa Foundation

Our foundation has a very long name, the Sanvegvardhak Kunthunath Shwetambarmurtipujak Jain Tapa Foundation, but we are just local folks here in Sillod. We are based out of Maharana Pratap Nagar, specifically at Plot 5. It’s a residential area, so we are right in the middle of the community. Most of what we do involves the local Jain community and supporting the traditions we grew up with. It’s about more than just religious practices; it’s about how we treat each other every day in our neighborhood. We don't have a fancy office building with glass walls. We just use a space that was available to us. It’s often filled with people coming by to chat or help with our latest efforts. Aurangabad can get quite hot in the summer, so we usually do our main work in the mornings or late evenings when it's cooler. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website with lots of bells and whistles. Word of mouth is how most people find out about what we are doing. We try to stay practical and help out where we can. Whether it’s organizing a small event or helping someone in need, we just try to be useful to those around us. It’s a simple life and simple work for the most part. We are proud of our roots here in Sillod and hope to keep going for many years to come.
