We operate out of House No. 5 in the Vijay Nagar Housing Society in Nanded. Even though the company is M/S Shah Technical Consultants Pvt. Ltd. from Mumbai, this is where we handle things locally. It’s a residential area, right across from Dr. Jawadwar’s place. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us. C/O S.M. Sassatte runs the show here. We do a lot of technical consulting work, mostly dealing with drawings and reports. It’s usually quiet on this street, except for the occasional car or kids playing outside. We have a few desks set up in the main room and a lot of shelf space for our files. Since we are in Nanded, we don't have the rush of Mumbai, which actually helps us focus better on the details of our consulting projects. People often get confused finding the house, so we just tell them to look for the housing society gates. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees in this branch. It’s just a small, dedicated group. We don't have a big sign outside or anything. Most of our clients come to us because they know the quality of work we put out. It's a straightforward way of working without any unnecessary extras. We spend our mornings looking at technical specs and our afternoons finishing up documentation. It’s a steady pace that suits the way we like to do things here.
