Our office is right there in Mangalam City Center, specifically Shops 7 and 8 on the first floor. If you know Old Jalna, you know Gandhi Chaman is always a bit noisy and full of life. We like being in the middle of it all. Working as contractors means we are rarely sitting still. Most of the time, the desks are empty because we are out checking on sites, but when we are here, it’s all about the paperwork and keeping the accounts straight. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we don’t mind. It feels like real work. We have been in this part of Jalna for some time and have gotten to know the other shop owners around us. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall downstairs while waiting for a client to show up. It isn’t a polished environment with carpets and silent hallways. It’s a place where people talk loud and things move fast. We have a few cupboards full of old blueprints and some chairs that have seen better days. It's a functional space that helps us manage the various jobs we have going on across the city. Being on the first floor gives us a decent view of the street, which is good for seeing when the supply trucks arrive. It’s just how we do things here in Old Jalna. There is always someone coming in with a question about a project or a bill.
