Mahiti Adhikar Va Patrakar Sanrakshan Ani Policemitra Foundation

We are located at Plot Number 07 on the Mantha Bypass Road in Ambad. The full technical address is SR N 449 and CTS N 11239, but most people just know us as being in Kalpataru Park. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole name, Mahiti Adhikar Va Patrakar Sanrakshan Ani Policemitra Foundation, so we usually just keep it short when we’re talking to neighbors. We spend a lot of time dealing with information rights and working with local journalists and the police. It can be a bit of a headache sometimes with all the rules and the different people we have to talk to. The office isn't anything to brag about, just a functional space where we keep our files and meet up. The bypass road can get pretty loud with all the trucks going past, but it makes it easy for people to find us when they are coming from out of town. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy uniforms. It’s mostly just us in our regular clothes trying to get things sorted. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of work to do, and other times we might close up early if things are slow. It’s just the reality of running a small foundation in a place like Ambad. We are just trying to do our bit for the local folks and the professionals we support. It is not always easy but we stay busy.
