Life Insurance

I have my small office here in Jalna where I handle life insurance matters. It is not a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a room with some chairs and a desk covered in forms. People from around town come in when they are thinking about their future or their kids. We sit down, have some tea, and look at the paperwork together. Jalna is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else, so a lot of my work comes from people just dropping by for a chat. I spend a lot of time explaining the different papers because they can be quite confusing with all the fine print. I don't try to sell people things they don't need. I just show them what is available and let them decide. The files are stacked up on the shelves and sometimes it takes a minute to find the right one. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the shops in the main market. I like the pace of it. Some days are slow and I just read the paper, and other days three families show up at once. It is just about being here when people need to talk about these things. I have lived in Jalna all my life so I am not going anywhere. It is just a simple, honest insurance service for the locals.
