Khairul-Loom Urdu Primary & High School

Down in Khadakpura, specifically in the Shivaji Nagar area of Nanded, you’ll find our school. It is an old building that has been around for quite some time. We have primary kids and the older ones too, so there is always a mix of ages running around the place. The rooms are basic, with wooden benches and blackboards. We spend our days teaching and trying to keep everything organized. It gets quite busy because there are many students coming from the surrounding streets. The neighborhood is lively, and that energy usually spills into the classrooms. We don't have many fancy things, just the essentials for a school. During the lunch break, the smells of tiffins fill the air. The teachers are mostly local people who have been here for years. It’s a practical place. We deal with broken chalk, leaky roofs when it rains, and all the usual things you find in a school like this. Parents often stop by the gate to chat or check on how their kids are doing. It feels like a small community inside the walls. We keep the registers updated and make sure the bells ring on time. It is not a quiet place, but it is our place. Nanded is hot, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can. Every day is just about showing up and getting the work done with the students.
