Dwarakai Agro Producer Company Limited

We are based at House Number 118 in Bhendala, which is in Ghansawangi. This is the Jalna district. It’s a small village and everyone knows everyone's business. We started Dwarakai because we were tired of being the last ones to find out about new farming methods or price changes. We are just a bunch of local guys who know how to handle a plow and a tractor. The house is where we keep our bags of seeds and our tools. It isn't a big industrial building. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we just sit outside and wait it out. That's life in the village. We focus on getting the best out of the ground. It takes a lot of sweat and sometimes a few tears when the crop fails. We don't use big words or have long meetings about strategy. We just look at what needs to be planted and we go do it. The market in Jalna is where we spend a lot of our time trying to get things sold. It's a tough job and it doesn't pay a lot, but it is what we know. We aren't looking to expand across the whole country. We just want to do okay here in Bhendala. If you visit, you'll find us in the fields or sitting by the porch. We share what we have and try to make sure no one in our group is left behind when times get hard.
