If you head out to the MIDC area in Daregaon, you’ll find us at Dhanlaxmi Tmt Bars Pvt. Ltd. We are located at Plot D-57 and also have some space over at Gut No. 66. It is a loud place to work, to be honest. There is a lot of metal clanging and heavy machinery moving around all the time. We handle TMT bars, which are the backbone of most buildings you see going up around the village and the city. Dealing with steel is tough on the back and the hands, but we have a rhythm down now. We spend our shifts making sure the bars are the right grade and getting them loaded onto the trailers. The dust in the industrial area gets everywhere, especially during the dry season, but that’s just part of being in Daregaon. We aren't some polished sales team; we’re the people who actually move the iron. We see a lot of contractors and builders coming through here looking for supplies. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in last minute. We just keep the yard organized as best we can and make sure the trucks get in and out without too much trouble. It is basic, honest work in the manufacturing sector, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the business inside out. We just keep the furnace and machines going all day.
