Cleanojal Socio Foundation

We are located over in Jalna, at house number 3-23-146. It’s right near the Mamadevi Temple in the Mastgad area. If you’re familiar with Jalna, you’ll know that Mastgad is quite a central place. Our foundation, Cleanojal Socio Foundation, works right out of this spot. It’s more of a home-style office than anything else, which actually suits us just fine. Being near the temple means there is always some activity going on outside, and we hear the bells and the people passing by all through the day. The heat in this part of Maharashtra can get pretty intense, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we sit and plan our local projects. We aren't a big organization with a huge staff; it’s mostly just us locals trying to handle things one step at a time. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop by just to say hello or ask what we are working on. It’s a very grounded way to operate. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology or have a slick reception desk. Most of our work happens at the big wooden table in the main room. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. It’s a practical space where we can just focus on the community work without too many distractions. It feels like home because, well, it basically is one.
