Our factory is situated at D-23 in the MIDC area along the Aurangabad Road. It’s one of those places where you can hear the machines running before you even see the gate. We work with plastics all day, which means the smell of melting pellets is something we don’t even notice anymore. The space is large and open, filled with big injection molds and sacks of raw material stacked up to the rafters. It gets quite loud inside when everything is running at once, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the clatter. We aren't trying to be anything other than a hardworking manufacturing unit. The office is just a small corner with a desk and a few chairs where we keep the ledgers. Outside, the Aurangabad Road is always full of trucks carrying goods back and forth. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the building has a few cracks and stains that show its age. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't spend money on decorating or making things look pretty for visitors. As long as the production line is moving and the orders are getting filled, we’re doing our job. It’s just a bunch of us keeping the cycles going day in and day out.
