You can find us at House Number 258, which is the residence of Shri Ashok Machindranath Pawar. We are located in Panewadi, within the Ghansawangi Taluka of Jalna. Amol Urban Multipurpose Nidhi Limited started here because we wanted to provide something for the local community right where they live. It’s a bit of a trek from the main Jalna city, so having an office here in the village makes sense for everyone. We handle the usual stuff like savings accounts and small loans for the farmers and small shop owners around here. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs and a couple of tables where we do the accounting. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually hear about us from their cousins or neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just keep working by the window light until it comes back on. It’s a very local thing, and we like it that way. Being part of the 431209 area means we are right in the middle of things. We know most of the families by name, and they know us. It’s not corporate life at all. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for people to come in with their passbooks. It’s honest work and keeps us connected to the ground.
